ASICS UB13-S GEL-SD-Lyte leans into the brand’s experimental running heritage with a low profile and a focus on cushioning and control. The design follows the original GEL-SD-Lyte idea of a protective shell wrapped around an inner structure, where upper and midsole are engineered to work as one unit against impact and changing surfaces. FLYTEFOAM PROPEL runs through the midsole for a responsive, cushioned step, while targeted GEL zones help soften landings and smooth out transitions. A staggered tooling system underfoot adds a stable feel through heel and midfoot, creating a grounded platform for everyday movement. In the Black Coffee/Midnight colorway, the layered panels and sculpted sole are rendered in deep, muted tones that sit easily next to technical outerwear, wide trousers or simple jersey staples.
